Monthly Events  Embroidery Group Sit and Sew with Ruth Reilly FREEEvery 2nd Tuesday each month from 10am to ??? We will sit and work on embroidery projects individually and as a group. Beginners are very welcome.  Scrap Happy! with Sue Lester FREEEvery 2nd Wednesday each month from 10:00am to ??? (all day) As you look at your quilts, is your motto "the more fabrics the better"? Let's look at our stash of fabrics and get busy making scrap quilts and use up those odds and ends fabrics you just can't get rid of. Join us as we talk about the scrap quilts we have made, new ideas and new techniques. We all work on individual projects to clear out some of the stash and work to finish 2012 with 12 finished quilts. Of course, this only makes room for new projects and new fabrics.....YES!! Every 2nd Thursday each month from 10.00am to 1:30pm in the large meeting room Love applique? Come join us as we work on our own projects, helping and sharing techniques, patterns and company. $5 Friday with Christina Boverman
Every 3rd Friday from 4pm to 9pm Join Christina for an evening of fun and sewing. Bring your own project, sewing machine and sewing supplies to work and share with other quilters. Bring along a contribution to the pot luck table and enjoy! Comfort Quilts
Every 4th Tuesday (except in December) from 10:00am to ??? (most of the day) These ladies get together to make lap sized quilts (approx. 45" x 60") to give to the oncology patients of Dr Senacal. This group has been meeting for 10 years and as of Feb 2012, have made and donated 1000 quilts to these patients. If you are interested in participating there is always room to help whether you sew or not. You can also donate fabric (100% quality cotton), batting, tops and finished quilts. Cash donations are always welcome, too. |
